Tech Services Update
The QQ technical team firmly believes in People, Quality, and Service and strives toward the satisfaction of our customer family.
When your beloved machine is entrusted to us for maintenance and repair, it does not leave the premises. (The rare exception to this would be a machine that needed to be returned to the distributor for a very complex repair or unusual circumstance. In such a case, your Bernina machine is driven to Aurora, IL, and your Janome machine is safely packed and shipped to New Jersey.)
QQ technicians are paid a generous hourly wage, thus there is no incentive to rush your work order through. We logically and methodically work through issues you have noted on your work order, and do not release the machine until it is performing to our satisfaction. This often involves many more hours behind the scenes than you may be aware of, but is part of our commitment.
We stand behind our work and offer a 30-day service warranty for the same issue.
We offer professional guidance on the best use and care of your machine for optimal performance.
We are factory-trained and undergo continuing education on new and existing products every year.
Our services are competitively priced, and we are currently offering better than average turnaround, often a week or less.
Update from Longarm Bob
Tell us the date when you would like to pick up your finished (unbound) quilt and we will get it done for you. Please, give us a minimum of one week for completion.
The transition to our new location with our 5 longarm machines, almost 23,000 all-over digital longarm designs, close to 150 different thread choices, a dry cleaner conveyor system to keep your quilt clean and organized, and the very successful conclusion to the holiday quilt season affords us the capability to meet your pick up date desires.
If you do not have a specific pick up date in mind, we are targeting (not a promise) a turnaround of 5 weeks out for unbound quilts and 6 weeks for quilts with binding.
QQ also has an additional longarm for customers to rent and longarm their own quilts!

- We are open for in-store shopping and curbside service Monday through Saturday 9:30am-4pm. We are closed on Sunday.
- Quilts for longarming can be checked in at any time.
- Complete this Longarm information sheet. Printed copies are available at the store's front door.
- See our Longarm Services page for information on design selection.
- Longarm Q24 rentals are available and must be scheduled either in person or by calling 630.969.2205.
- Machines to be cleaned and/or repaired can be checked in with a completed Machine information sheet. Printed copies are available at the store's front door.
Quilters Quest Return Policy
Quilters Quest has a no returns policy. If you are ordering fabric online, but are unsure if it is the correct fabric, make a note on the order to request that we don't cut it until you arrive. We cannot take returns on any purchases.
